Cryptor's "Alt Weekend"
« on: February 02, 2012, 02:28:16 PM »

Who is organizing it: Cryptor.

What is it about?:  Any time when you log into the game during weekends you log in on your lowest level character available.  Either side of the force.  That's all there is to it, weekend is the perfect opportunity to grab a drink and forget about grinding, dailies, raiding and everything else.

This event is not for the timid ;)  Pretty much limited to people who are not concerned with advancement and would rather experience the whole game and every class instead.
Guild Wars 2 - "Cryptor.1657" on Moledune server
Rift - "Licho" on Seastone server.  Click Here for a free friends invite into Rift.  BTW Rift is now free to play up to lvl 20.

Jan 4/5 Weekend.

I'am extending my "Alt Saturdays" to "Alt Weekends", so on weekends I will be playing alts only from now on.

I have alts on both sides of the force that I can play, all under lvl 10 at this point.  I can't say when I will be able to play on the weekend during the day though, whenever my son will sleep.  As far as the evening it'll be the usual 8/9PM and 'till I pass out ;)

I also decided to decrease the number of alts I have, need to keep some slots open for when the legacy system is implemented.  Here is the latest list:

Smuggler will bite the dust so that I can have 4 open slots for when legacy system will be implemented.

I'd almost recommend all alt weekend event to take place from lvl 10-11 starting out.  This puts you at the Imp/Rep Fleet and your class change.  The starting planet is just too fast to get through (not to mention the classes have different starter planets).  My alts are all lvl 10+, so that's just my personal opinion :)  Otherwise I could always wait for players to catch up.  Otherwise, I'm game for it with the exception that I do work part of the weekend.

That actually sounds like the smart thing to do.  It's fairly easy to meet up at fleet, and that's where the main action starts, anyway.
